HAMIL KETIKA SEDANG HAMIL???
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,ARKANSAS - Julia Grovenburg dan suaminya, Todd, harus menunggu tiga tahun untuk bisa memiliki bayi. Tapi, ketika Julia akhirnya hamil, mereka sungguh terkejut. Julia hamil lagi setelah dua setengah pekan sebelumnya sudah lebih dulu hamil.Kasus Julia ini satu berbanding satu juta. Dia melahirkan kedua anaknya pada saat bersamaan, meskipun mereka secara teknis bukanlah anak kembar. Julia (33) menjadi salah satu dari hanya 11 perempuan yang pernah dilaporkan hamil dalam kondisi sudah hamil.Kondisi tersebut diidentifikasi sebagai 'superfetation'. Yakni, dua janin yang dikandung pada waktu yang berbeda dan lahir pada hari yang sama. Namun, medis menyebut mereka bukan kembar.
Tak Percaya
Julia sungguh merasa senang ketika mendengar kabar bahwa dirinya akhirnya bisa hamil. Namun, dua kali hamil dalam dua pekan membuat Julia masih tidak bisa percaya.
"Untuk beberapa waktu, saya tidak bisa terlalu berbahagia bahwa saya akhirnya bisa punya bayi. Karena, tidak ada seorang pun yang bisa menjelaskan mengapa semuanya bisa terjadi,’’ kata Julia. ‘’Pengetahuan umum dan buku-buku medis menjelaskan bahwa Anda tidak bisa hamil ketika Anda sendiri sedang hamil. Tapi, entah kenapa saya menjadi pengecualian untuk hamil dua kali dalam dua minggu."
Julia sungguh merasa senang ketika mendengar kabar bahwa dirinya akhirnya bisa hamil. Namun, dua kali hamil dalam dua pekan membuat Julia masih tidak bisa percaya.

Kisah ini bermula ketika Julia dan Todd (34) menempuh berbagai cara untuk bisa memiliki momongan. Ketika akhirnya mendapatkan hasil positif bahwa Julia hamil, mereka kemudian dijadwalkan untuk kembali konsultasi ke dokter pada pekan berikutnya.Namun, mereka pekan berikutnya berjalan keluar dari ruang dokter bukan sebagai orang tua yang berbahagia karena bakal memiliki anak. Pasangan itu justru lebih putus asa dari sebelumnya ketika mereka selama tiga tahun berusaha ingin punya anak. Mereka putus asa dan khawatir karena Julia dua kali hamil dalam rentang dua pekan.
Hasil USG
Perawat langsung memanggil dokter ketika melihat hasil USG yang membingungkan. Gambar pada USG menunjukkan dua bayi yang terpisah dalam dua kantung terpisah. Salah satunya lebih besar dan lebih maju dari bayi satunya.Berdasarkan perbedaan ukuran, kedua bayi tersebut jelas bukan bayi kembar. "Dokter kami bergegas untuk melihat apa yang terjadi. Dengan nada panik, dia mencoba menjelaskan apa yang kita lihat di layar," kata Julia. "Dokter berkata,’Yah Julia, Anda tidak memiliki anak kembar. Tetapi, Anda memiliki dua bayi’. ‘’Dokter Julia menemukan berita yang luar biasa. Dia sepertinya menemukan beberapa terobosan medis. "Tapi, Todd dan aku takut karena kami tidak tahu apa artinya ini bagi kami atau bayi kami,’’ kata Julia. Menurut irama detak jantung dan tampilan USG, usia bayi mereka selisih sekitar dua setengah pekan.
